Torrance Memorial Hospital

Many smokers and former smokers go through life with one question in the back of their minds: Am I at risk for lung cancer? Torrance Memorial Medical Center has a program designed to answer this question. It’s called the CT Lung Screening Program and it provides early detection when treatment is most effective.

RCG was selected to develop an advertising program promoting this treatment to the greater South Bay region of Southern California. Diagnostic research was performed on the hospital’s existing program as well as the programs at three competitive hospitals. Interviews were conducted with patient candidates, hospital oncologists and Nurse Navigators.

Goals for the program included; reducing the number of advanced lung cancer patients in the South Bay through CT Lung Screening and educating South Bay residents of the possible life extending benefits of CT Lung Scans. Advertising was developed for web, print and outdoor.
